Dr. Bart Iaia is a 1992 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. "I have always admired Veterinary Medicine. It truly is a profession that allows one to practice all aspects of medicine.” His professional interests include dentistry, nutrition and animal behavior. Dr. Iaia also has interests in complimentary medicine and has completed courses in Lomilomi, an ancient Hawaiian healing art. This healing art can be applied to the veterinary field and many pets enjoy the touch, and relax quickly during the session. He is also certified in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Reddick, Fl. Acupuncture is a 2000 year old art of healing that involves stimulating certain points within the body to promote healing. It is very effective in treating chronic conditions such as arthritis, IBD and skin disease. Dr. Bart enjoys spending time with his wife Denise, their daughters Brie and Gianna, and of course, the family pets; currently, two dogs, one cat, a few fish, and a guinea pig. Hobbies include gardening, eating (and occasionally cooking) and water skiing.”

I am very fortunate to work with a great group of hard working and compassionate people. I have come to understand the human animal bond, and am deeply touched by the love people have for their pets. Nothing pleases me more than to see a small puppy or kitty and the joy on the owner's face." Denise is here to make sure your experience at Renton West is second to none. And to make sure that Dr. Bart and the rest of the team take care of you and your furry family member. In Denise's spare time, she is the mother of a two wonderful little girls named Brie and Gianna, and also a mother to two dogs, one cat and a fish. She also is a wonderful wife to Dr. Bart.

Pita is our executive IT officer in charge of internet security. Commonly found in front of the computer, Pita makes sure that coffee mugs are kept a spills distance away from our sensitive electronic equipment. Hair rollers are kept nearby so that Pita can rub up against them to make sure the computers are also free of cat fur. Occasionally, Pita has answered the phone confusing a few clients when no one answers their questions. Veterinary Topics
